Overview
Faith Eclipse models are designed as the ultimate ‘stage guitars,’ with workhorse reliability yet maximum performance capability. And they always look awesome in the spotlight. The classic combination of a Solid Spruce Top and Solid Mahogany back and sides ensure you have a superb unplugged sound, with an ideal blend of presence and full-bodied tone. The onyx black finish, covered with carefully applied, clear lacquer, helps to tame the tonewood’s natural resonance, producing a reassuringly balanced and focused tone when amplified, yet retaining that essential warmth in the midrange.
As you step onstage and plug-in, you’ll feel your new Eclipse really come to life. The upgraded onboard electronics - in the form of Fishman’s revolutionary INK BODY preamp system - have been carefully selected to enhance amplified performance by combining the clarity of a traditional undersaddle piezo pickup with the tonal richness of a body sensor. This system not only takes amplified sound to incredible new heights, but it also allows for much greater note expression whether you’re playing chords or complex fingerstyle pieces.
A ‘body’ control knob on the discreet Fishman preamp fascia enables players to intuitively dial in the bridge-plate mounted sensor alongside the piezo, under-saddle pickup, offering greater control over the level of body-derived tone or percussion in the mix. You will have more control over your tone than ever before.
You’ll also notice that for the first time in our history - and in a move that truly brings the Eclipse name to life - a beautiful, Figured Maple ergonomic forearm contour has been introduced to the guitar body to maximise comfort and playability. This Maple arm contour is matched by the stunning figured maple binding that covers the outer edges of each instrument.
And, in line with our continued commitment to ethical and sustainable manufacturing processes, these new Eclipse guitars are free from all animal products: traditional Abalone and Mother of Pearl rosette and logo materials have been replaced with beautifully figured maple. And just as with all other Faith Guitars, for every guitar that finds a new home, we plant trees with ‘JustOneTree’.

This Faith Neptune model is based upon Patrick James Eggle's highly acclaimed 'Saluda' shape. A Baby-Jumbo size with a 16" lower bout, the Neptune is the perfect model for those seeking acoustic power without the physical bulk of a full-sized Jumbo.
