Overview

Using the combination of Red Cedar and Mahogany, Classic Burst models sound as rich and warm as they look. Using a three-tone burst finish, based on deep browns, reds and amber, this finish is intentionally understated and is a personal favourite of Patrick''s. The tonal character will have emphasis on the lower-midrange with a beautifully warm, vocal nature. This parlour model is remarkably loud considering its size, and the scoop allows access to the upper frets that little bit easier. The Classic Burst models are bound with Solid Macassan Ebony, and use the same high quality timber for the fingerboards, headplates, heelplates, bridges and bridge pins. This Faith Guitar is fitted with a discreet Fishman Sonitone preamp system which features a volume and tone control mounted to the underside of the inside of the soundhole. The sonicore piezo strip is mounted under the saddle. The battery is located in a special bag affixed inside the guitar attached to the neck-block. The outside finish is very good on the whole, a little messy where the fretboard lies on the body. Sounds beautiful feels solid like a German car. The inside finishing is quite poor with poor joints and excessive glue. Disappointing as I had purchased on the understanding faith guitars were finished really well.

Love it. Tone & playability great. Only issues - wiring needs tidying/sheathing, can't use humidifier as sonitone volume/tone knobs get in way (though probably wont need it anyway)
