Overview
The RS8MCE Rathbone No.8 Grand-Auditorium is an all-solid tonewood model that uses all-Mahogany tonewoods to deliver a wonderfully woody and warm tone with a natural voice.
The Grand-Auditorium shape is the natural evolution of the Concert and Auditorium models. Larger in both lower width and overall depth, the all-solid Rathbone No.8 Grand-Auditorium is designed to deliver an extra serving of power from every direction.
The perfect all-rounder, the No.8 has the same scale length as the Orchestra Model but body dimensions closer to a classic dreadnought. The larger body cavity naturally produces greater bass tones, but without sacrificing clarity, and that's the beauty of the Grand-Auditorium. However, a larger body does not mean an unwieldy instrument. Far from it, in fact. The beautiful curves around the waist of the Rathbone No.8 ensure the guitar will sit comfortably on a knee or hang perfectly from your shoulders.
This Rathbone guitar is fitted with an excellent Fishman Presys preamp system and Fishman Sonicore pickup to bring its mature character to life and give you maximum tonal control when plugged in.
Fishman Presys preamp controls: Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble. Phase switch. Low battery indictor. Built-in tuner with LED display.
