Faith Guitars Provide Update on Just One Tree Partnership
Faith Guitars are delighted to provide an update on their partnership with Just One Tree - a non-profit organisation based in the UK, pledging to plant at least one tree for every Faith guitar sold globally.
Faith donate a portion of their profits to the Just One Tree programme to contribute to re-forestation projects in areas of the world hardest hit by deforestation, including Mozambique, Nepal, Haiti, Brazil and Indonesia. The initiative also supports agricultural education and provides sustainable incomes to local communities.
Thanks to the donation of a proportion of guitar purchases since January 2022, Faith are pleased to report the planting of over 2500 trees to date, assisting the removal of over 770 tonnes of CO2 over the next 25 years.
This absorption of CO2 comes on top of the obvious benefits from Oxygen creation; ensuring new habitats for wildlife; and the creation of employment and ongoing forestry guardianship for local people too.
“We bring this latest planting update to you not to proclaim to be especially unique or virtuous, but simply to shine a light on the important work Just One Tree are doing towards building a more biodiverse and positive environmental future,” comments Alex Mew, Faith Guitars’ brand director. “Our partnership with Just One Tree is part of our commitment to ensuring Faith Guitars are ever more sustainably and ethically administered, meaning we can continue to all enjoy making and playing guitars together on a healthier planet.”
