Overview

The free blowing baritone sax with a deep and rich tonal voice.

Launched in January 2011 the Trevor James SR baritone was developed in close cooperation with baritone sax players in the UK such as Lee Badeau. The result of such collaboration is a very free blowing baritone saxophone with rich tonal characteristics and a sound which simply blows you away!

How does it Feel & Sound?

• Professionally designed crook modifications typically found on more expensive horns – resulting in an incredibly free blowing instrument that is rewarding and fun to play.
• Rounded keywork featuring blue needle springs for a very natural key action that is particularly smooth and light to the touch.
• Larger body bore for excellent projection –this horn sounds balanced and confident with plenty of bottom end character.
• A laid back and mature tonal character that also excels at delivering a subtle sparkle when called upon.
