Trevor James tone hole plugs for the flute are designed to cover the open holes on a French-style open-hole flute.

Open-hole flutes can be challenging for players who are not used to covering the holes completely with their fingerpads. Tone hole plugs allow progressing players or those transitioning from a closed-hole flute to adapt gradually.
